ABOUT THIS RING

Once upon a time an ultra-fine, and no doubt exceptionally pricey, icy-white 3.00+ carat diamond inhabited this ultra sparkling finger bauble by none other than Cartier (français contingent). While the diamond is off on a brand new adventure, we filled the gap with a truly phenomenal, and many times more colorful and distinctive jewel--a magnificent, blazing hot, hot, hot pink sapphire of Burmese origin (about as close as you can come to being called a ruby, and pictures can't do justice) - weighing 3.31 carats. The radiant, other-worldly (color-wise) gemstone crowns a lustrous 18K yellow gold ring packed to the hilt with 138 small, sizzling pavé-set round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.35 carats. You won't believe your own finger! Currently ring size 6 1/4. Accompanied by a GIA gemological report stating: Natural Corundum, Sapphire, Burma (Myanmar) origin, heated.

About Estate Jewelry

Though it calls to mind grand manor houses in the English countryside, “estate” is just a fancy way of describing any piece of jewelry with a previous owner. That’s pretty much everything in our collection. We tend to use “estate” to refer to pieces in our collection with a more modern or contemporary design, or vintage-inspired designs. These perennial gems are selected in harmony with our original antique and vintage pieces…they’re just a little bit younger!

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
