The movement called Edwardian in Great Britain was called Belle Époque (beautiful era) in France, and this enchanting necklace is characteristic of the era's style. Connected to an elegant bar chain, sprays of flowers on leafy stems create a lovely half-wreath centered by a bow and embellished with a shimmering blister pearl dangle. Edwardian allure à la française. Hand fabricated in 18K gold, circa 1890-1900, it measures 17 1/4 inches.
