The Lang Antiques Fine Arts Scholarship - Thank you for your interest in the Lang Fine Arts Scholarship Contest. We are no longer running this program but continue to sponsor educational efforts in the jewelry industry by donating to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) General Scholarship Fund.

Lang Antique & Estate Jewelry was founded in 1969 by Mrs. Jarmilla Lang, and has since become a landmark in San Francisco’s fashionable Union Square shopping district. Lang is the premier company for buying and selling antique, vintage and estate jewelry and has the largest collection of authentic period jewels in the country.

We are an experienced and passionate team, dedicated to preserving treasures of the past. We pride ourselves on surprising and delighting clients by providing an unparalleled selection, uncompromised integrity, superior service, and exceptional value.

Background on Scholarship

Everyone on the Lang team shares a love of the arts and a dedication to preserving history. In support of this goal, we have created an online library called Antique Jewelry University. This database is a resource for students, appraisers, artists, historians, and jewelry lovers of all kinds. As a further commitment to the importance of ongoing education, we are also sponsoring a $1,000 Lang Antiques Fine Arts Scholarship Fund.
